SERVICE 01 OF 08

Judicial Protection

Comprehensive legal protection across every level of litigation and investigation.

Scope of service

Our litigation team represents individuals and companies and defends their interests at every stage of a dispute, from assessing the legal position to enforcing the judgment. Where negotiation serves the client better, we start there before going to court.

Areas of litigation

  • Civil — contract, compensation and property-ownership disputes, and personal and financial damage.
  • Commercial — disputes between partners, commercial contracts, supply and distribution, and insolvency.
  • Criminal — defending the accused in felony, financial and economic crime, forgery and fraud cases, at every level of the courts.
  • Family — divorce, custody, maintenance and inheritance.
  • Labour — pay, unfair dismissal and working conditions, for employees and employers.
  • Administrative — challenging administrative decisions, and grievances and disputes with government bodies before the administrative courts.

Negotiating commercial disputes

Many commercial disputes are settled faster and more cheaply by negotiation, which also preserves the relationship between the parties and keeps information confidential. We negotiate or mediate in:

  • Contract disputes — performance, interpretation of terms and breach.
  • Financial disputes — distressed debts, late payments and penalties.
  • Disputes between partners and shareholders.
  • Disputes with suppliers and customers over delivery and quality.
  • Intellectual-property disputes, and disputes arising from mergers and acquisitions.

Once agreement is reached, we draft it as a clear, binding document and follow its implementation.

How we work

  1. 01Case review — examining the documents and evidence and establishing the legal position.
  2. 02Negotiation — seeking an amicable settlement where it serves the client.
  3. 03Pleadings and advocacy — preparing memoranda and pleading before the courts of first instance, appeal and cassation.
  4. 04Enforcement — following the judgment or settlement through until the client's rights are recovered.
